Our story

A small, family-run inn built on clean rooms, fair prices and a warm welcome.

Golden Hideaway Inn began as a simple idea: visitors to the north of Saint Lucia deserve somewhere comfortable and safe to stay that doesn't cost resort money. We took a yellow two-storey building in Marisule — arched walkways, blue balustrade balconies, gardens full of bougainvillea — and turned it into a guest house we'd be happy to send our own family to.

Today the inn is run day-to-day by our own family and a small local team. We keep things deliberately straightforward: rooms that are cool, tiled and cleaned every day; a mini-fridge and kettle in every room; free Wi-Fi and free parking; and someone reachable on the guest line at any hour.

Our guests are a mix of regional business travellers, families visiting relatives, couples heading to Reduit Beach and long-stay visitors who want a base rather than a resort. Being ten minutes from Rodney Bay and fifteen from Castries means you're close to everything without paying for a sea view you'd only use twice.

We're honest about what we are — a well-kept, welcoming guest house, not a hotel with a spa. What we promise is that the room will be clean, the AC will be cold, and you'll be treated like someone we're glad to see.
